Last week, we went to breakfast at Parkers La Mer. The standouts for our meal were the Turkish Simit with garlic, zaatar, yoghurt, and chilli oil, topped with a poached egg, and that wickedly buttery, chocolatey babka.
That Babka was so good, its going down into my personal list of ‘legendary desserts’. If you haven’t been yet, GO FOR THE BABKA! :) They call it a ‘Dark French Toast’ under the menu, and its glorious. Imagine a dessert that’s briochy, buttery, chocolatey, soft, and crisp at the same time.
